Women in Manufacturing Summit 2024

Coming together to exchange ideas and war stories is one of the key benefits of attending a face-to-face conference.

The 2nd annual Women in Manufacturing Summit 2024 in Melbourne this August has been designed to provide you with plenty of time to do just that at our exclusive roundtables. You’ll gain practical strategies to develop your skills, elevate your career, and network with colleagues in a relaxed, supportive environment.

Each roundtable discussion goes for approximately half an hour and you get to choose up to 3 of the below discussions to tailor your own conference experience. Interactive roundtable discussions allow attendees to divide into groups and discuss niche ideas, gain practical tips, and work through challenges faced by other tech professionals from multiple industries while you make contacts and build relationships.

Topics to choose from include:

  1. Unlocking your full potential through the power of mentorship
Facilitator: Latinka Cubitt, General Manager – Administration, Catten Industries
  2. Using Technology in your role and how technology will shape your future career
Facilitator: Kate Whitney, Chief Digital and Technology Officer, Treasury Wine Estates
  3. Find your career path in manufacturing
Facilitator: Honi Walker, Chief Executive Officer, South East Melbourne Manufacturers Alliance (SEMMA)
  4. Navigating the manufacturing industry’s journey towards sustainability goals
Facilitator: Zoe Marshall, Environmental Manager and Food Safety, Quality Systems, Turosi
